How about the exercises at the back of the Hicks' book, Ask and It is Given.
I particularly like the "Rampage of Appreciation" game, which if I describe it to you it'll sound all pollyanna-ish, but in practice it really does make me feel better. I've imposed it on my innocent bystander friends who were in a bad mood and they report excellent results. There are other exercises in the book, too; maybe one would appeal to you?
