We discussed it right away, not totally sure what it was. The name, Zadok, we soon found out, was of a priest of King David's, and later Solomon's. This dovetailed neatly with our direction at the time (we were building a business), but didn't quite line up with our beliefs.
The next 3 years was a journey of spirituality and I had no grounding or outside source to base experiences off of. It was all new and I was taking his lead - he was the most charasmatic and intelligent person I had ever met and I was fascinated with his knowlege and ability to 'peg' a person to the core with their insecurities in a matter of minutes.
Coincedental IM things would happen quite frequently with us, including monetary offers to fund our work from the most unlikely sources. Parking spaces all the time - directions - My roomate would claim to 'talk with God' in his sleep, and things got a bit cult-ish. Looking back its clear to see the manipulation, and when we finally parted ways, he was convinced we had been plagued by demons working against us, but there had been so much manipulation I was unsure if that is what he actually thought or if it was an excuse for his behavior. Either way, it left me confused.
I've never been able to talk about this fully with anyone who could relate.
