Still confused

Doesn't financial abundance mean that you don't have to worry about money? I'm not going crazy spending. For a simple example..... I have clothes, but their old (REALLY old and outdated). I don't NEED clothes, but it sure would be nice to buy something sorta new in the last 5 years. I certainly don't have the income I'd like at the moment. I've been controlled by the fear of not having enough money my whole life. I feel if I really want to eliminate the fear of going broke, I stop worrying about where the money will come from. Does that make any sense? If I were to live within my means at the moment, I would not be buying anything but food right now and I feel like that keeps me in a place of fear. Do I just need to align my thinking like "I have everything I could possibly need, including money, so there's no need to spend?" I feel if this is the case, that I'm going to really really need to dig deep to believe it. Possible, but a much more difficult route. If I had money (like I supposedly do in my thoughts), I'd replace a few things that REALLY could use replacing.

Are you saying to believe I have the money and spend it? Once again, not spending crazily (once a bargain shopper, always a bargain shopper), but just not living with the fear that if I spend $100 on clothes, that money could've been used to pay my gas bill and just letting life take it's course. No worries?
P.S. I am actively working towards more income. It just hasn't manifested itself yet.
