If there is one good dietary plan that would really help, It would be the kind of diet that excludes all human made/refined food (Processed meat, bacon , refined carb, soda, sugar, Fructose, HFCS, unnatural grain fed livestock and fish, sweet and etc). What our ancestor ate 100 years or thousand years ago gives the best clue on weight control and optimal health. ( though they suffered dearly on infectious disease due to poor sanitation )
