I read an article of Steve's not so long back, where he said something like that in order to make his mind believe that he was rich, he'd gotten used to carrying much bigger sums of cash around with him (I don't remember him saying anything about spending it though).
Since I'd rather my money gathered interest instead of dust, and the simple act of standing next to the ATM in my part of the UK shouts 'Rob me!', I didn't think this idea very practical for me. Then I figured I'd just act like The Queen, who carries nothing
If there's a reason why the growing stash in your savings account should attract less than the static bundle in your pocket, then I don't see it.
