This whole belief that you must earn the respect of the universe or that you need permission from something bigger than you is starting to not gel with me.
It all comes back to the 'I'm afraid I'm not in control' situation, that you can have whatever you want, but only when the universe/god/source/whatever feels like it.
Any kind of thought that you can't ultimately have what you want within time, means you're a puppet with control outside of yourself.
I don't like that.
In means we can't take full responsibilty for our lives as we only have partial control.
Seems like a cop out on the highest level
