Yes from personal experience in watching thousands sign up, try it for a few months, and then quit since the late 1970s. I'd say that one in every 100 mlmers makes just enough money to stick at it for a while before quitting. The odds of making any money at mlm are terrible. The odds of having satisfied customers and happy downlegs recruits are even worse.

I'll let you in on a little business secret: real business people try to carve out a unique niche for themselves in the market by finding something that only they can do, or do in a certain way, or in a particular market.

Beware of "business opportunities" which are handed out to everyone like bake sale flyers. They are very low quality ones.
