As a person who has psychic gifts, as well as a person who is a survivor of a rather large AVM and aneurysm in my brain...I emplore you to consider a head ct, to eliminate the physical before assuming it is paranormal.
You could also be experiencing clairaudience. Either hearing spirit, ghosts, guides, angels, hearing spouse's dreams or thoughts, or it could be the brief moment from deep sleep to waking...that I refer to as "twilight" sleep. (I'm sure someone with a better vocabulary can call it something better. lol) You are at the stage of sleep where you are becoming consciously awake, but the sounds of the dream you were having is sort of smeared over ....like turning off the old overhead projector and turning on the lights, but merely turning down the soundtrack for a second before switching it off.
