Hmm...this posting & a couple of the posts got my brain going.

I also am a well.. not right now.. but I do write from time to time. & I majored & got my bachelors in it. However, I understand how you feel from feeling conflicted. When I was younger it was just for me & for others to enjoy but when I tried to do it the way my professors wanted me to (I believe they were more darkworker oriented...about being the best possible artist & having the glory of being the best writer out there) I experienced the worst writer's block ever. It was awful. It wasn't until I had a more lightworker oriented professor that I did a lot better with her doing my thesis & in her classes.

I think being conflicted creates writer's block. Just my theory because I experienced it. It was the only time I've ever had an awful time trying to get anything out. Wonder if you're experiencing a bit of what I did..floundering in the middle. Some of the advice I read seems pretty good here too too bad I didn't have this board when I was doing my BA.
