Spirit contact? Or guide?
Relatively new to this site, but have had several 'interesting' experiences - weather control, animal command, visions, accepted possession - thought I'd describe them all in one thread at first, but I think I'll approach them one by one and would like some feedback. No one in my current circles seem to be capable of relating.
OK, first one (though not the first to happen), this one really got me. I've seen posts where people describe laying 'half awake, half asleep' in bed, fully aware of what is going on in their surroundings, but unable to move, speak, anything, although they really want to. This has happened to me a few times. Sometimes it feels like there is something 'inside' my mattress, rolling up and down my back and legs - but I can't move.
A few years ago, I was living in an apartment and my roommate was highly spiritual, but trying to escape from a dark past. I was trying to help. He was highly intelligent, had developed a remarkable psycological development theory and 3-d map explaining all levels of development - never seen anything like it.
Anyway, we both had been studying the Bible more and more, and I had been experiencing visions of animals, lions, gazelles, etc doing things in open fields. This is kind of a side note.
So, back to the bed - I was laying there in my room one morning coming out of a good night's sleep, and that 'can't move' feeling overwhelmed me as my senses heightened. I felt a presence. I said, 'who are you'. 'Zadok' was the reply. I wasn't afraid, more amazed. Then I asked, 'should I tell (my roomate)?' 'Zadok' replied, 'No, he will come to you.' then the spirit left.
I immediately woke up, kind of dazed by what had happened, and went to the shower. While I was taking my shower, my roomate (who normally sleeps for another 3 hours or so) came into the bathroom. 'What's up?' I said. He said, 'um...did...did something happen to you this morning?' I said, 'like what?' He said, 'Uh...did someone talk to you?' 'Yeah, they said you would come to me about it.'
Anyway, this event sort of solidified for me the existence of 'the other side'. My roomate eventually almost snapped, as his anger grew over the next 3 years and we parted ways after several trying events. This was 10 years ago.
Any discussion would be sort of theraputic for me. Thanks
