Hey Gooseus, I don't think you're crazy at all, and I'm sure nobody on this forum would think that.
I read online about people doing that, concentrating an intent towards a global manifestation, many swear it works, I guess it's LOA in action. I listen to 'coast to coast am' from time to time on youtube, and I know George Noory does that sometimes with the listeners. They actually have many shows about 2012, where they express the opinion that there will be a shift in consciousness around that time.

I'm all in, will definitely concentrate on manifesting a positive shift in global consciousness in 2012. My hopes are for a world of major advancements in renewable energy technology, more peace, economic stability, sustainability and environmental responsibility. It can't hurt for all of us to mentally set a date to concentrate on!
