Hi Michael.
I like your view of inter-connectedness as an explanation for God. I've long sensed I'm linked with people, but its only more recently I've become more fully aware of wider connections within me. I'm experiencing new realisations in reading the Conversation with God Series by Neal Donald Walsch. One view presented is God is limitless, can appear in any form, under any circumstances, and to all people in all places at the same time. It is suggested that "Life IS the process of awakening and becoming. It is the process of becoming what one always was."
I would hypothesize that if a person believes there has been some external intervention in his life, then that person feels disconnected from other people and hasn't yet grasped the power he actually exerts over his inner being.
Like you, I believe what we don't yet understand can oneday be understood. It may not seem now like we're 'meant' to understand aspects of where we are or what we're doing, but progressive enlightenment has power to change our perception.

Thanks for your comments.
