I also have what is undeniably adult onset tourettes. I have been basically laughed at by medical professionals over my condition and have been written off as essentially mellow dramatic or a hypochondriac. I have had a neck tic my whole life but at around twenty five it began developing at an alarming rate even to the point of causing me arthritis. I am now moving into a life consumed by my neck tic not to mention incessant barking and groaning. I'm going into my thirties and it gets worse every year, I don't know what to do. It's all I think about and I can't not twitch. All the experts say it goes away or at least lessons gradually but **** them because my TS controls my body and it's not getting better. I have given up on therapy and accept that this is who I am now but all I want is to talk to other people that are going through this. Please contact me @
