Something that's been bugging me about the scarcity-mindset bent of Steve's is that... well, I'm just not interested in money. I understand the reason triple-digit shirts have their price-tags, and I appreciate the value behind them; but I barter, nowadays. While starting from a scarcity-mindset, I've moved into abundance by way of a money-free lifestyle. (The logistics are for another thread.) I go "I can't afford that" in the same sense someone with no real interest in learning Cyrillic would go "I can't read that" to a Russian novel: without knocking the content, there is a certain separation at play.

I'm just wondering what Steve's perspective would be on my little anomaly.
