Surely getting up at 5am must be combined with a 'sensible' bed time? (I'm sure some of you prefer not to do sensible though!). Reducing your sleeping to 4/5 hours as well as getting up at 5am is a whole other ballgame to me!
I start work at 7am so I often find that i'm awake and up at 5.30am weekdays, but that's combined with me going to bed no later than 10.30pm. However, I do find that come weekend, I struggle to maintain the early rise and I get up at 7-8am. This works for me though, if I stay in bed any later than 8am I feel i'm wasting the day away!
