Darlin', I know where you are coming from. Do not worry -- I think these people talking about these ideas are performing "thought experiments" -- it's an interesting concept, but I'm firmly of the view that I am just a part of the world and not the creator and totality of it. I don't even accept responsibility for everything that happens to me, as some new agers would propose, because I feel some of it is just chance and some of it is due to others' negative intents.
With an idea like this one, you have to be on one side or the other = some people are exploring the other belief and what that might mean for them, and that is fine. However, you do not have to even think about it as a philosophical concept if you don't want to. You can avoid these posts and get your balance back. Think about other topics. Do not allow yourself to feel insecure in yourself, or afraid of life--no one here wishes that upon you, and it is not healthy.
(even if their damnfool notion is true! ...which it isn't, ha)
