The person whose existence I am most grateful for is Dolano, because her words point towards liberation.
Dolano is an enlighened Zen Master, a true 21st century master who speaks in a simple, straightforward yet incredibly revealing way.
She follows the Advaita-lineage of Sri Ramana Maharshi, Sri Poonjaji and Gangaji. Advaita is the teaching of non-duality and non-teaching.
Dolano lives in Puna, India where she gives public open satsangs twice a month throughout the year and holds month long Intensive Satsangs, helping people awaken to their true nature.
According to her, enlightenment is the liberation of the mind. To know who you are, this is an "awakening", but it is not enough. It is your "beloved servant" mind who need to be liberated by your true nature. Dolano calls herself a radical Zen master - she recommends being a light onto yourself, going along with that and finding out what is true, truth for truth, like a scientist. Enlightenment is your nature, it is so ordinary, it is so here. But this mind is in the way and it longs for liberation.
