I do have both indeed...

Since one does not seem related to the other, I'm going to have a look into these links.

I'm not really concerned about the tones because they do not bother me that much, just a bit annoying at times.

The other thing... well... I know that there are great operations now, if I have what my mom and grandmother have, and I'm not to worried about it either. Loosing my hearing will be nice and quiet
