Yesterday I had some unexpected expenses that were going to cause me a glitch in my checking account if I couldn't get some extra money in the bank by tomorrow. Earlier today I figured that I would need around $130 to cover everything and leave a little extra til Thursday when I will begin getting checks for March. I pondered it for a bit this morning and said to myself, "Eh. It will take care of itself somehow." and essentially forgot about it.
This afternoon I was working with a customer and right before she left she said, "Oh, yeah, I went ahead and brought your check with me. And I tacked on that $5 I owe you." And do you know how much that makes the check??
Yep. $130. She wasn't due to pay me until Saturday and has so far never paid early.
Things that make you go "hmmmmm...."
Oh, and I am not sure what thread it was one where I stated that I was on my way to manifesting 20 houses a week for my husband's small construction business. Two months ago we were lucky if he had six. In the middle of winter business has been picking up like crazy, which has never happened before and only started after I saw The Secret and began studying I/M.
He got a call today and it was for him to do a house in a completely different subdivision than the ones he normally works in. This subdivision is normally covered by another man who does work similar to my husband's. There are only a limited number of people who do what he does in our area and this other guy is the largest. About two weeks ago, I manifested for several days that I didn't care how it happened, but I wanted to get some of this guy's work. I kind of told myself that it wasn't like I wanted anything BAD to happen to the other guy, but basically, if ours is picking UP, somebody else's has to go DOWN. I figure this guy can stand to lose some houses and still have a big chunk of work. Anyway, it looks like we might get this new subdivision and it is REALLY close to where we live, which is a big bonus. The moral to the story is that with this subdivision, we will probably average between 20-25 houses a week for at least the next six months. I just cannot explain how HUGE this is for us. I mean, HUGE.  |
