You wouldn't count that sale as part of the experiment, since it's wealth you've already acquired before joining. The point of the MDE is to manifest something new.
For example, I don't count any of my Adsense income as part of my MDE results, even though it has increased a lot since the experiment began. I was generating income from Adsense before the MDE, and I was already expecting it to continue increasing, so I can't credit that result to my participation in the MDE.
I tell people that if there's any doubt or if you were already expecting the income, don't count it in your MDE results.
