VeryConfused.....as I read this forum, I find it overwhelming also. You're not alone. But I've learned that that's not because of the new concepts that are presented, new ideas and ground-breaking paradigm shifts. I've found that it comes with taking on peoples' comments and opinions as your own without realising it. If someone tells you that
Quote:
you are god
and then launches into to a spiel for the rest of their post based on that principle, it's easy to forget the foundations upon which the spiel was written and accept part(s) , or all, of the spiel - inadvertently accepting the underlying position of the post.

Equally so if someone says
Quote:
none of us are God
. Maybe they're right, maybe they're wrong. The question is, do you buy into it or not?

Before you get too distressed, work out what's distressing you. Is it the beliefs that you are suddenly faced with and have inadvertently adopted, or guilt over them, or what? There's nothing here to say anyone is right here, and that you've been wrong all your life, or you should feel guilty, etc. etc.
Just follow your own path dude...

Another example is in this post:
Quote:
We all have our own view of reality, but we are not separate from one another. We are all one, a unit.
Here is another paradigm that if you blindly accept what they're saying, given that it's a stark contrast to where you are now, you wind up flipping your world on its head because you haven't worked through what this means exactly. There's nothing for you to say they're right or wrong, you just have to take your time and work through it all...

My advice... it's nothing to do with telling you how I view the world, god, etc. etc., but just for you to be careful how you read these forums. Because that's all they are: forums. People 'talking'.
