Wink I always manifest what I want

Hi guys,

First, I want to say I really appreciate every single member of this forum. We all have something important to say and I have learnt a lot from all of you. Sometimes I have disagreed with people, but they have helped me see a different point of view, and I appreciate that. I love everyone here

Anyway, I saw an interesting question and I thought I would answer it with a new topic post. The question was "Can you manifest something intangible?"

And the answer is yes. A big YES. And I know this to be true because I do it everyday.

I used to spend a lot of time trying to intend and manifest material things, but grew quickly frustrated when nothing happened. The problem was that my thoughts and emotions weren't congruent with the type of person who could manifest my desired lifestyle. At that time (2004) I wasn't aware of IM or LoA, and I was just setting goals, reading books and using vision boards. But after I learnt about IM/LoA and I went through some trial and error (I misunderstood a lot ), things got better.

What I did, was to begin to focus on how I wanted to feel about myself instead of the material things I wanted to have in my life. And when I began to focus on changing my behavior and mental habits, material things started coming into my life much, much, much easier.

I've gone from making ONLY intentions like these:

- Awesome loft apartment in Boston
- Land Rover SUV
- Trailrunning in France during the summers
- Finding my dream person

To keeping these exact same goals, but making them secondary to these intentions:

- Peace in my life
- Appreciation for everything and everyone
- Confidence and trust in myself
- Postive expectations in all situations in my life
- Trust in God (the Universe, Jesus or whatever you want to call it)
- Abundance (Financial, Spiritual, Emotional, Relational, Health)
- Self-love
- Connectedness to God

And since I have combined these two types of intentions, while focusing on how I want to feel instead of what I want to have, I have:

- Greatly increased my income and have improved my financial habits
- I now live in the two countries (America and France)
- Have gone from geek to chic (I've improved my appearence and health)
- Moved into a great apartment (I'm saving for my loft )
- Increased my self-confidence and trust in myself
- Have become more spiritually connected (I've improved my meditation habits)
- Have learnt to "Let Go and Let God" and I always expect a positive outcome for everything

Well, it wasn't easy for me to get to this point in my life. Actually I would not say it was hard, but rather uncomfortable. And it was uncomfortable and sometimes it still is, because I'm mentally overcoming a lot of limiting beliefs that kept me manifesting what I didn't want. I have to consistently replace these limiting beliefs every day and sometimes it's painful, but I do it anyway. I've had to change the way I've thought about myself, my abilities and the entire world. And I didn't change everything overnight. Honestly, I have working on serious personal development since September 2004, but some people in these forums have been doing it for much longer. And what's more, I spend a lot of time reading books, listening to audio material and practicing personal development techniques every single day of my life. Well, I don't do anything on Sunday because it's my lazy day

There were times when I felt like things were going slow and times when things felt like they were happening fast. Now that I've been practicing PD techniques for a while and have learnt to be patient, things move soooo fast. In fact this morning while meditating, I learnt that when things seem bad, it's the best time to practice your manifestation skills! It's the best time to build faith in yourself! It's the best time to get to know who you are. I'm at the point where I'm thankful for the challenges in life, because I learn lessons and I get better at manifesting

The progress I'm making now is so amazing and my life is perfect. Now of course that doesn't mean I don't have challenges (or problems as some people like to call them). I still have bumps in the road, but I look at them as opportunities to learn something about myself. And as a result, I have gotten some of my best ideas when I was supposed to be feeling down or sorry for myself.

I no longer worry about money, my career, or falling in love. I trust I will get what I want and I always do. But not when I always want to get it. Just because I want something now, doesn't mean I will get it now! I was struggling with the instant gratification issue for a while. But when I just let go and trusted that everything happens in perfect timing, I've greatly diminished stress from my life.

So as you can see, nothing I have said sounds like fairy tales or magic! And it really isn't. All I have done is change the way I think about everything and as a result, my world has changed. That's basically The Secret.

Good luck to you on your journey of personal development
