Yes, I too hear tones, as a child evernight before sleep I woul hear what sounded like a rather loud morris code. Somewhere along the line I out grew it or it just turned into tones.
At this point I hear tones and pitches during all hours of the day and night and at one point I heard a mans voice as clear as if someone were sitting next to me say, "Do not be afraid we are tuning you".
This was while I was in a deep sleep and I was so startled by the tones that I was waking up to see what was going on when the voice reassured me and I went back to sleep. I remembered what had happened the next morning with little comfort.
