My first thought is response to this question was, "it doesn't seem as if we're in the midst of a revolution, but then if we were, would we realise it?" It seems the same thing happened during the Industrial Revolution, and there was
a group of people who did realise, and did try to help it along. In that respect we could be in the midst of a revolution, and many people here are the ones trying to help it along.
