I think that "offended" might not be the right term to use, but here's my story:

When I first got into Law of Attraction, I was introduced to it through the book "Science of Mind" (still one of my favorites, even though it reads like Shakespeare until you understand the language).

At the same time, I was also learning the Photoreading Whole Mind System from the 3rd Edition of Paul Scheele's book of the same name.

I REALLY wanted to go to the live seminar, which cost $750 then, I think it's the same now.

I affirmed/intended for the $750 to go to that seminar.

In a few weeks, I had $750 show up in an unexpected way. I was thrilled.
BUT...

Instead of using that money to sign up for the seminar, I used it to pay toward a bill. I think in a way that was saying "screw you" to the Universe since I didn't use the money for what I intended.

I think sometimes we DO get what we want, but we use it for other things.

and I think the Universe might develop a sort of "memory" for things like that.
If that makes any sense...
