Any particular reason that the idea of you holding a crystal makes you uncomfortable?
Back in my days of experimenting with the dream-state, I was able to hold a crystal in either hand all night while asleep. I found that it raised my conscious level while dreaming. I mostly used quartz but I had a fluorite crystal that was heavily included with what looked like cracks. After a few weeks, about 75% of those inclusions 'healed' according to the person that sold it to me at a gem and mineral show.
