Incorrect. The scientific method is the process by which a hypothesis is tested for falsehood. It does not, and cannot, discover truth. It is premised on the assumption that predictability exists and repeatability confirms. One of the chief theist attacks on science, unsurprisingly, is on these assumptions. See Pastafarian canonical belief: "But what our scientist does not realize is that every time he makes a measurement, the Flying Spaghetti Monster is there changing the results with His Noodly Appendage."
