I'm a 21 year old female in college, and since I went to school close by home I made very few friends at my school. I ended up leaving for a semester and going out of state and then coming back again so I've lost touch with many of the people I met freshman year. A lot of the people I was friends with in high school and after that are drug addicts and alcoholics, very few of them are what you could call a good friend. I have very few girlfriends as it is and while it's usually easy for me to make guy friends I have a lot already and it bugs my boyfriend when I make new ones... How can I make new girl friends?? I've thought about joining a sorority but I'm not sure if they will accept me since I'm already in my junior year :\ ADVICE PLEASE!!
& I'm very bad at meeting people in class...usually just ends up distracting me from doing my schoolwork...
