I think we are the Universe, we cannot speak of a universe separate from ourselves. When you say the Universe might get offended, you speak of some entity that is separate from us, but really everything that is comes from the same place and is the same at a quantum level. So it's impossible for the universe to ever get offended, as it is you, and you are it.
