This made me giggle because I get told this ALL the time by lots of people, in fact even today my friend told me I was making things more complicated than they were. I wonder what makes me do that? I just always have to know that things will go smoothly and I have to analyze every detail about everything in order to understand it.

So visualization, affirmations, imagination, etc., is just a means of getting you to become different so you can attract different.
My imagination is EXTREMELY active though, I'd say 70% of my day I am imagining, dreaming, visualizing or fantasizing about something. But like I said in the post I just made, I don't think I ever really thought these things were possible, I guess I've always felt like "well why would I get those things, I've never gotten them before." Now I realize how I've been screwing myself!

If you are fine with the way things are, then none of that is necessary, because you will continue to attract experiences that reflect whatever your state of consciousness is right now. Also, change will normally happen in your life anyway, because life will cause you to grow, which results in a change in your mental state, which then translates into you attracting slightly different experiences.
This is all so true! I'm only "fine" with the way things are because I'm usually scared to do anything unless I know it's perfect and will have perfect consequences, which of course, is impossible to ever tell! And I also find problems with EVERYTHING, even my best ideas. And I can't do things if there are problems involved. Also that part you said "life will cause you to grow", that's an earful right there...Life has CAUSED me to grow, I haven't caused myself to grow! That needs to be switched around!!
