Wouldn't this world be more fun, interesting and rich if we were all free to connect with people when we felt connections, in whatever way each of those connections evolved?

People fear repurcussions to the family unit, and thus the fabric of society, but:
Would we really leave our kids unattended, or would we be even better parents from all the wealth of things we'd learn from each other, from our fellow human beings?
Would we not enjoy better critical thinking and decision-making capabilities as we learned from many other's choices and lifestyles rather than by internalizing judgements from a couple of key people (our parents and teachers) who may never have questioned their OWN judgements and motives?
Would we allow foreign and interesting influences into our lives, instead of living by rote?
Would we be more lit up, more excited and have more adventures?
Would we raise more tolerant kids and end judgements based on the exterior (looks)?

I'm not sure why, Erin, but your post brought out in me the desire to express how beautiful it would be for us all to connect on a soul level - how much richer everything would be. Just food for thought...
