my experience is similar to Michelle's. i have seen the outline of what i learned was an angelic figure, and i've connected with angels energetically, but i have not had the type of experience you wrote about in the OP.
like Michelle, i feel an overabundance of love and gratitude when i connect... a feeling of bliss really... i imagine that is what it's always like in the space we visit when we leave this planet.
