I think it was a bit long winded. I know you like to articulate, and use metaphors and stuff... but it felt like you could have made the same point, probably more effectively and more powerfully in a lot less time.
The best writing class I ever took focused on efficient writing. Basically, when you cut out anything that is unnecessary, you make your content more powerful.
