For those more well-thumbed ebooks - I have just come across this FREE online booklet creator which will order the pages of a PDF file to print out as a booklet simply and easily.

I am printing out a 134 page ebook as a booklet - using just 35 sheets of paper, so I have decided to split it into 5x 28 page sub-booklets to bind together in a cover.

I just put in 28pages per booklet and 'add blanks to last booklet' and in a few minutes, it downloaded a suitably ordered file for me to print (I'm doing it in little batches - odd pages, then turn the paper over and even pages)

Sometimes, there is just nothing to beat papers in the hand! (And yes, I do have a Sony Ereader for most of my stuff!)
