Scientology has a reputation for catering to their celebrity members, the idea being that high-profile celebrity Scientologists will inspire others to join. The Scientology experience of a Cruise or a Travolta is probably a lot different than the experience of the average member.

Whatever works for them is fine with me, but I find Scientology completely unappealing.
