You don't honestly think that an entire political party wants health-care reform to not happen. That's not what that quote says.
Republicans have proposed their own versions of health care. Guess what? They have been flat-out ignored. Which is what happens when you're out of power... no one has to do what you say, so they usually don't.
I'm a republican, I don't want "health care" to fail. But this version of it? Absolutely. And I don't want it to be IMPLEMENTED and then fail... I want it to never be signed by the President. That way it won't RUIN the country.

As I said in that same post you quoted from, I hope that they have a viable alternative so that we are not left with this same broken system. Maybe the Republican Leadership and right-wing media should put forth as much effort getting the word out about their alternative plan as they are spending trying to demonize Obama and discredit his plan.
