Breaking a negative anchor
I know a lot has been written about how to foster positive anchors. However I'm curious about the best way to break a negative anchor. If you have linked up a certain thing to a negative emotion or thought, how do you un-link them? This seems really hard because it seems as if the more you try to consciously un-link them, the stronger the association becomes?
Does anyone have any suggestions? I've read a lot of self-help stuff and don't know that I've come across any powerful techniques for doing this.
