My family and I had a chance to visit Japan back in the early 90s, but we didn't go. You can read about all that in my blog post about it.

I'm using a combination of a Japanese-English/English-Japanese dictionary, flash cards, and doing YouTube videos where I talk for a little bit in Japanese.
