If I were King of the World, my first act would be to ban ALL religions from society. That does not mean, however, that I would ban SPIRITUALITY. Each is a unique path to God, and so long as the person behaves in a postive manner and doesn't go around trying to push their beliefs on anyone else, I support ANY expression of one's spirituality, no matter how weird it might seem to others. Seeking to know God is never a bad thing. Religion, however, has proven to be quite a bad thing, indeed.

sounds like you're pretty self-righteous and power hungry yourself.
I suggest you read up on attempts by similiarly 'enlightented beings to ban religion - Revolutionary France eg "the reign of terror' is one example. Communism is another - they ended up knocking off about 120 million.

so has government, philosophy science (used to create nuclear devices, social darwinism) the concept of equality (see communism, above) and host of other things, by your standards.
