Can horror/gore movies like "The Orphan" or "halloween" open someone up to negative spirits or ghosts? Can the fear bring on negitive influences? WIll it be inviting them?

I never watch them because I don't like feeling afraid.

I have experianced wonderful things lately. Dreams that have protected me and loved ones. Wanting simple things that come my way. Knowing things I should know at times and now being prepared to meet my angel guides.

I have not been around negative or scarely things and lately my mind has been focused on education and good things. Then, tonight, I got curious and almost watched "The Orphan". I stopped short and thought maybe the fear I feel watching this will bring on negative influences.

Will it?
