I don't believe there is any cancer conspiracy. I think it is what I would call "justifiable negative effects". There are A LOT of things we use each day that contain, emit, produce "Justifiable negative effects" like microwaves, man made sweetners, mobile phones, water (fluoride), toothpaste (fluoride), preservatives, addatives, wireless networks (wifi) etc.
You have to remember that the world is run by capitalism and that means that capitalism > safety research. I know that in the pharmaceutical industy there are a lot of very strict regulations with releasing a new product but then there are still a lot of "Justifiable negative effects" that are allowed through the net like side effects.
Another example is look at the luxury car industry. Performance cars like Ferrari's never get crash tested because it's too expensive for the test organisations to do it.
I was told once of an article where an engineer looked over the build quality of a Ferrari and he said that the build quality was terrible. If safety research came first then it would be law that car manufacturers provided cars to be tested for free.
In the same way that if peoples health came first then the government and companys would put more effort and research into holistic medicine, prevention, and healthy life styles.
