I guess it's different for everyone since we all have different needs at different times. The fact that a person can be expressive with their friends is great, but, from a female perspective at least, and I'm not sure if this is just me or if other women feel the same, but there is a need to have someone all to yourself that you can express things you don't express to your friends, so it's like feeling like you want this person to know you, or if you feel that they know you more than your friends or anyone does, it makes it more special an intimate I guess! Though this could be something women build up in their minds as what they want but then the reality of being with a bloke who isn't emotionally open and doesn't fulfill those needs can lead to disappointment because we hold this ideal in such a highly desirable state...when reality doesn't match up, it all ends up a bit of a flop really.
But that's what I have on my " manifesting my perfect match" list for what I want...Someone who is comfortable with intimacy, or if not totally, then at least working through it in a committed way...someone who is sensitive and emotionally expressive but not too teary (overly emotional males in my experience, are a bit of a turn off)
