Hmm, most useful keyboard shortcuts...

Well, if you're using Windows, probably:
Windows-E - open Explorer
Windows-F - to search your drive
Windows-R - to launch programs and things via keyboard rather than via clicky-clicky
Windows-L - lock your computer
Alt-F4 - close current program
Ctrl-F4 - close current document
