For years I have been having Sleep paralysis, could not move my body, feeling someone sitting on me or on my bed, hearing strange voices. I thought I was going crazy!!! I went to neurologist for treatment, he prescribed some heavy medications to help me sleep. It helped as long as I was taking it.
I did not know what it was, my brain activities or maybe I was visited by a bad spirit who tried to suffocate me. I was lookig for answers, and today, I stumbled upon your site. You explain so well the Sleep Paralysis, and now I have my answer! Now I will not be as afraid, and even try to experiment with it. Thank you Erin for saving me today, you have no idea what a RELIEF I feel.

You get the very same things that happen to me. Recently I've been experimenting with this, trying to have an OBE. I very often hear voices in the house that aren't there, sometimes my wife and kids even. Not just like "dream" voices, but what seems like real voices. Lately, I'll hear footsteps around the bed (very creepy at first), and the other day someone even breathed on my ear. (ok maybe it was the cat, but I don't think so...)

At any rate, It's quite a fun thing to experiment with... Here is a good resource someone else here pointed me too: How To Trick Your Body Into Falling Asleep To Have Your First OBEs And Lucid Dreams In The Minimum Amount Of Time just in case your interested. He has some tips on getting out of paralysis in case this is what you want too...

Thanks!
