My hair started receding at a very young age (before I even started high school). For years I was very self-conscious about it, wearing a hat whenever possible. I suppose I was worried about what others thought, especially since I was so young. Finally I realized that anyone who would think different about me because of how much hair I had wasn't the type I person that I cared what they thought. I have been much happier since then, and rarely even think about how much hair I do (or do not) have. I just turned 30, so am not much older than you. My suggestion is to not worry about it. Let nature run its course, and be happy with whatever happens.
