 Pre-conceived notions
Somebody like Dave Chapelle did plenty of visualizing to become as famous and rich as he is. I bet he spent countless hours in front of a mirror practicing his comedy routines.
However, the self help movement is rejected out of hand by a lot of people because it's considered fringe and woo-woo. Dave Chapelle instinctively and intuitively knows about LOA and has applied it well. Others, like me, have to consciously apply it, and learn it.
About starving people. It is a massive belief system gone wrong in starving parts of Africa. There is plenty of food on this earth to feed everyone. They need to use price controls to limit farm production. But starting at the top, to the village leaders, and the parents, the child is subjected to wrong thinking that leads to starvation. Why does the food aid not get to the children? Because of motives and LOA of somebody. Why does some food aid actually get to children and help them? Again because of the LOA of some wonderful people.
