Sometimes when I am going about my day, I'll think negative thoughts about certain people, either at work or somewhere else, and I'll think to myself, "I can let this negative thought go and turn it into a positive thought or I can just let it stay in my head as a negative thought." It is fine to have these negative thoughts, it is reaffirming them as positive thoughts that is key. If you can turn a negative thought into a positive thought, you no longer have to worry about negative thoughts because you have a way of dealing with them.
