When you speak, laugh, sing, your mind can't take you out. Speak your affirmation out loud. If you are angry, or frustrated yell it. If you can't do that, immediately tell yourself "I am joy,I am joyful, I am happy with my life!" Or use whatever affirmation you are working on. Another technique that works for me, is to tell my negative thinking to STOP! Then I use my new affirmation to create a new response to replace my old way of thinking.
If it is a person who is upsetting you, don't create that reality. Just say to yourself, __________ plays their part very well and let it go. |
