Congrats! That's an awesome story.
I am a math major yet I was near the bottom of every university math class. It seemed like I was able to digest enough to just get by. It affected my personal self image with regards to my math skills.
Thankfully I also found a tutor and he helped me regain my confidence.
Its a great lesson about the power of asking for help and finding good mentorship
