But yes, Maxwell is also correct.....there are certain events which trigger the reaction..for example- i watched this horror film the other day....and entire night i was tortured ....the images just kept coming back.
I just couldn't control them....

I have to also add that I'm extremely restless...even if i sit down to meditate or maybe i close my eyes and try to think something positive it does not happen...that is an obstacle as well. |
How's it going with all this? Is it the same, getting better, or getting worse? Gaining confidence can definitely help diminish fear and even neutralize the mind-mechanism and emotions in play. The mechanism is that aspect that accesses certain memories and then floods your thoughts with images that cause stress. The subconscious is like a jukebox player that is grabbing files and playing them at random and even in repetitive loops. I'm guessing that one or two 'clearings' using the EIT will instantly cease the loops and you will be able to comfortably meditate and to fall asleep from then onward. It's worth a try.
